Dear Golfers,

It is with great pride that the Associação Nacional de Seniores de Golfe Portugal welcomes and organizes the XL ESGA Teams Championship & Cup in Portugal.

Our country is known worldwide as one of the most recognized golf destinations in the world and this year we chose the fantastic region of Óbidos & Peniche, north of Lisbon, as the stage for this XL ESGA and Teams Championship & Cup.

We are 50 minutes away from the capital Lisbon, in a region of Portugal that UNESCO classified as a creative city of literature, projecting it on a world scale, with excellent golf courses such as West Cliffs, Royal Óbidos and Praia D’El Rey.

The magnificent courses of West Cliffs, Royal Óbidos and Praia D´el Rey will host, respectively, ESGA’S Championship, Cup and Presidents Tournament and will surely make the XL ESGA teams Championship & Cup a memorable week for all players.

All participants, guests, delegates and referees will be lodged at the Royal Óbidos Spa & Golf Resort, site of the Óbidos golf courses, and at the MH Atlántico Golf Hotel in the traditional fishing village of Peniche.

The ANSGP therefore welcomes the 276 players and more than 150 companions who, during the week, enjoy the perfect sport in the midst of a healthy interaction between Europeans. Visitors can also enjoy their stay and discover the wonders of local cuisine, tours, cultural visits in the region of Óbidos, Peniche, Sintra, Caldas da Rainha, Cascais and Lisbon
